PCP Webinar Series: The State of Innovation in Primary Care

PCP Webinar Series:  The State of Innovation in Primary Care

At PCP, we believe innovation is at the forefront of the minds of our community -- carried out at different levels and stages in a career in primary care.

That’s why we decided to launch our new primary care webinar series with a conversation about the state of innovation in primary care between a true leader in primary care innovation, Dr. Richard Baron and Emmy-award winning filmmaker (currently in production on an upcoming documentary on primary care), David Grubin.

The thought-provoking conversation spans topics from the evolving use of technology in primary care to models for team-based care and the patient-centered medical home.  Baron, who is Group Director of Seamless Care Models at the Innovations Center at CMS, talks about the expanding role he sees for primary care clinicians in the future, about how trainees at all levels can get involved in clinical innovation, and how the government is taking on innovation at the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation.
