Inspiration Leadership Community

Our Work

PCP believes that leadership is integral to the future of revitalized primary care and leadership development is the focus of our work. In addition to our leadership training, our programs incorporate teaming, change making and innovation.

Developing Leaders

There's a skills gap in primary care leadership and PCP takes a unique approach to filling it. We teach relational leadership development with a particular focus on the next generation, and provide numerous real-world projects where participants can utilize these new skills and make a difference in the process.

Teaming is essential for patient care, but it is not addressed by most health professions training programs. The Student Hotspotting Learning Collaborative is a PCP/Camden Coalition/AAMC initiative focused on training interprofessional teams of health professions students to work together and help high-risk patients achieve improved health outcomes.

Change Making

Through our chapter network, PCP uses a student-led, grassroots mobilization strategy where interprofessional teams of trainees launch local campaigns to promote primary care, advance innovations in care delivery and accelerate educational reform.

Through webinars, blogs, campaigns and live events, PCP showcases some of the most exciting innovations occurring in primary care, the everyday people leading the innovations and the strategies being employed.
